Oklahoma Mental Health Political Action Committee (OKMH-PAC)

The Oklahoma Mental Health Political Action Committee (OKMH-PAC) is a nonpartisan, registered political action committee under Oklahoma law. It is a connected PAC and while it is sponsored by the Alliance of Mental Health Providers of Oklahoma, a 501(c)(6) organization, the Alliance is not the legal “parent” of the PAC.

OKMH-PAC operates as a separate legal committee and maintains its own bylaws, officers, registration, governance, and reporting obligations. The EIN is 41-3749998.

The OKMH-PAC advocates for policies and funding that strengthen mental health care across Oklahoma, specifically, Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCHBCs). The PAC supports evidence-based solutions that advance access to care and improve outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.

Through strategic engagement, education, and political participation, the Oklahoma Mental Health PAC offers a bipartisan voice in support of mental health priorities and works to elevate the perspectives of those committed to improving Oklahoma’s mental health system.

TRANSPARENCY

The Oklahoma Mental Health Political Action Committee accepts contributions from individuals and other lawful sources as permitted under Oklahoma Ethics Commission rules. Membership in the PAC is open to individuals who support its mission; however, membership does not confer governance authority or voting rights. The PAC is governed exclusively by its officers in accordance with its bylaws.

While many contributors and participants are affiliated with Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) through their service on the Board of the Alliance of Mental Health Providers of Oklahoma, contributions to the PAC may be made by individuals or organizations as permitted by law. The PAC operates as a separate legal committee from the Alliance. Although the Alliance may host PAC contribution forms on its website as the sponsoring organization, all funds are received, deposited, and reported by the PAC in accordance with Oklahoma law.
