Alliance ENDORSES BOATMAN for Oklahoma SD 25

Jeff Boatman has been a tireless mental health advocate and arguably the most influential legislator on mental health and substance abuse issues who is currently serving in the Oklahoma legislature.  In a rare move, the Alliance is publicly endorsing his election to Senate District 25, the first time we have taken such action.

Alliance of Mental Health Providers of Oklahoma Endorses Boatman for Senate District 25

The Alliance of Mental Health Providers of Oklahoma, a 501c6 and the largest network of mental health providers in the state, formally endorses Jeff Boatman for Oklahoma Senate District 25. The Alliance is a 501c6, and was founded in 2020.

Boatman most recently served as Oklahoma State Representative for House District 67. He will face Brian Guthrie, Mayor of Bixby, Oklahoma, in the June 18 primary.

Boatman became a champion of legislation on behalf of the mental health and substance use services needs of Oklahomans across the state. His unwavering leadership on behalf of Oklahomans most vulnerable citizens led to him being named chair of the Oklahoma Mental Health Caucus. During his service to Oklahoma, he has helped advance legislation paramount to reducing suicide rates in Oklahoma, improving the overall mental health of our citizens and putting an end to human trafficking. The Alliance has personally worked with Candidate Boatman and is proud to officially endorse him for the Okahoma Senate.

The Alliance of Mental Health Providers of Oklahoma is largest and most unified network of mental health providers. Our mission is to advocate for better mental health and substance abuse treatment in Oklahoma.
